The renovation project at Jesús 41 envisions an evolving home, a living space designed to adapt seamlessly to the different stages of its inhabitants’ lives. The proposal is rooted in a timeless design approach, drawing inspiration from both the building’s original architecture and the present and future personality and needs of the couple, who are preparing to expand their family.
While aesthetics play a significant role, the project’s core objective is spatial optimization: creating a balanced dialogue between shared living areas and private zones, anticipating the natural evolution of the household.
The strategic use of glass and mirrors allows the limited natural light to be distributed and projected deeper into the home. This material selection not only reinforces visual identity and harmony but also maximizes daylight intake, a fundamental aspect given the property’s predominantly north-facing orientation, which originally rendered the space darker.
The result is an interior design proposal that balances aesthetics, functionality, and long-term vision, delivering a home thoughtfully conceived to evolve alongside and support its inhabitants throughout every stage of life.
